01 — Scoring

Score against your own best and worst, not a rigid rubric

Show SLATE a handful of candidates you'd hire and a handful you wouldn't, for this specific role. It extracts what's actually on the page — experience, skills, tools, achievements — and compares every new profile against both sets, with the reasoning behind every score.

  • Learns your bar for this role, not a generic one
  • Every score comes with the reasoning behind it
  • Runs right on the LinkedIn profile you're viewing

02 — Enrichment

Turn a LinkedIn profile into a verified email

The moment a profile clears your bar, enrich it with a professional email address — no separate export, no third-party upload, no copy-pasting names into another tool.

  • Works on a single profile or a full search results page
  • Pairs with scoring, so you only enrich real fits
  • Stays in the same tab you're already working in
03 — SOBO

SOBO: outreach that goes out under the hiring manager's name

SOBO — Send On Behalf Of — turns your scored shortlist into InMail sent under the hiring manager's own name, not a recruiter alias or a bot. Copy is drafted in their voice and reviewed before anything goes out.

  • Sent under the hiring manager's own name, not a recruiter alias or a bot
  • Only reaches the people your scored shortlist says are worth it
  • Every message is approved before it sends — nothing goes out unreviewed

Sourcing shouldn't feel like a second job

The old way
  • Skimming 200 profiles for a gut feeling
  • A rubric that doesn't actually fit this role
  • Finding the right person, then losing an hour hunting for their email
  • InMail from a name the candidate doesn't recognize
The SLATE way
  • Every profile scored against people who already proved the fit
  • A rubric built from your own examples, not a generic checklist
  • Email enrichment the moment a profile clears your bar
  • Outreach sent under the hiring manager's own name, approved before it goes
FAQ

Questions, answered plainly

What does SLATE need from me to get started?

Your own Anthropic API key, plus a handful of example profiles — people you'd hire and people you wouldn't — for the role you're sourcing.

Does SLATE replace my own judgment?

No. It surfaces reasoning, not just a number, and any shortcut rule it derives from your examples is checked against your own target profiles before it's ever applied — so it never silently rejects someone who looks like a person you already want.

Where does SLATE actually run?

As a Chrome extension, directly on LinkedIn — profile pages, people search, and recruiting search. There's no separate app to open or dashboard to upload anything into.

Who's billed for the AI calls?

You are, directly. SLATE calls the Anthropic API with your own key — extraction runs on a fast, inexpensive model and comparison on a stronger one, with caching so you're never billed twice for the same profile.

Does SOBO send messages as if they're actually from the hiring manager?

The outreach goes out under the hiring manager's own name and is written in their voice, drawn from your scored shortlist — but nothing sends until they've reviewed and approved it. It's their message, drafted for them, not sent without their knowledge.

Is this only for hiring?

No — SLATE scores people against whatever role and examples you give it, which works just as well for sales prospecting as it does for recruiting.
